Disc golf course at Bay Court Park

Located on the south shore of Green Lake in Independence Township, the 9-hole disc golf course at Bay Court Park is the perfect place for a relaxing day of golf. There are also picnic pavillions, a banquet and meeting facility, and gazebos. The park was once a Boy Scout camp, where they camped at nearby Lester Lake and Camp Brady. Bay Court Park is a great disc golf course for families. There is also an 18-hole disc golf course for beginners. The park also features a baseball diamond, soccer fields, and children’s play structures. A picnic shelter offers picturesque views of the park woods and grounds. Disc golfers will love the dog run on the property. Picnicking is another great option. And, the park offers plenty of parking.

Waterford Township

Waterford Township is located in Oakland County, Michigan. It is three miles southeast of Bay Court Park, Michigan. It is the geographic center of Oakland County. In addition, it is a historic landmark. The township has many activities to offer its residents. Waterford is a great place to hold an outdoor wedding or family reunion. The township is located along the Hillsdale-Lapeer Moraine Range. Its highest point is Pine Knob, at 1,221 feet, followed by Waterford Hill, at 1,150 feet. One of the most prominent residential streets in the township is Olympus Circle, at 691 feet. The township is home to thirty named lakes and the Waterford Hills Road Racing Track. Clarkston

If you’re looking for a place to spend your summers, Clarkston, Baycourt Park, and Independence Charter Township have plenty of parks to offer. Some of these include Depot Park in downtown Clarkston, which features a playground and gazebo. In Independence Township, the Renee Przybylski Memorial Spray Park is under construction, as is the Deer Lake Beach. Located in Bay Court Park, these three parks provide an excellent place for the entire family to enjoy outdoor activities.

The city of Clarkston, Michigan, has some of the best parks in the state, including Bay Court Park, a beautiful beach, and historic Brady Lodge. Bay Court Park also has a community-built playscape and a disc golf course. The park is free to visit and has plenty of picnic tables right on the beach. You can also walk the Burleson Nature Trail, a quarter-mile nature trail with views of the Lake Michigan. The park is great for a picnic or an outdoor wedding.

Independence Township

The playscape at Baycourt Park in Independence Charter Township is a beautiful and well-maintained place to play. Picnic tables dot the park’s landscape and the nearby gazebo is a great spot for weddings. The Independence Township Parks and Recreation also rents two pavilions for various events. Cedar Grove Pavilion is the largest and features its own parking lot. The Lakeside Pavilion is smaller and more convenient for smaller gatherings. Both pavilions have restrooms nearby. In addition, the Parks and Recreation Department rents out the Lakeview Multi-Purpose Room, an indoor structure with public restrooms and class areas.

Clarkston Beach

Whether you love to surf or spend your days swimming in the bay, you’ll enjoy a day at Baycourt Park. Independence Township has an ideal location with a wide variety of recreational activities. Clarkston Beach is just a short drive from downtown. The community is also home to the famous Clarkston Beach Pier. It is a popular spot for family outings. Clarkston is also home to the Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce.

For those who like to spend the day on the beach, the area has several parks. The community’s Depot Park, located on Depot Road, has a playground and gazebo. Independence Township is also home to the Renee Przybylski Memorial Spray Park, which is currently under construction. Other local attractions include Baycourt Park and Deer Lake Beach.
