In 1987, the township acquired a deed for the park, which was redeveloped in 2010. The project, which cost $5 million, was financed through a grant from the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund. It also has two universal playgrounds, which feature padded rubber surfaces and play equipment that is accessible for all. The park also has a sensory garden and wheelchair-friendly surfaces. A wheelchair-friendly swing is also available. A large variety of activities await families at Marshbank Park.

A century-plus-acre park in West Bloomfield is home to 2 baseball diamonds and two playgrounds. The park is managed by the West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation Department. Located near the Lodge, a parking lot adjacent to the park offers easy access to restrooms and playground equipment. The park also has walking paths, two baseball diamonds, and a soccer field. Throughout the year, the park offers special events and activities.
The park has 2 baseball diamonds and 2 outdoor volleyball courts. The playground is open year-round but does not offer lifeguard services. There is no admission fee and the park is open from eight am to dusk. The park is also a popular place for sledding. The area is also home to Gretchko Elementary and Scotch Elementary. West Bloomfield Middle and High School are located nearby.
