If your family loves getting wet, the Spray ‘n’ Play area at Indian Springs Metropark White Lake MI is a great place to take the kids. It features a water spray area, rock-climbing wall or cargo net, fenced maze, painted labyrinth, spinning buckets, and hillside slide.

The Environmental Discovery Center is the point of entry for visitors and education groups exploring Indian Springs Metropark’s restored native wetlands, prairie, and wooded environments. The 18,000-square-foot building acts as a threshold between our everyday view of the world and the complex diversity found in nature’s wetlands and ecosystems.
At the EDC, you can find a variety of interactive exhibits designed to help you explore and appreciate the complexity of Southeast Michigan’s native habitats. The center also contains classrooms and a science lab, as well as a 200-person event room used for school, scout, and public programs and events.
You can also enjoy mile after mile of hiking trails through prairies, wetlands, and meadows. The 2,215-acre park also features an 18-hole, par 71 public golf course, picnic areas with shelters, a baseball diamond and volleyball court, over 8 miles of paved trail, and sledding and cross-country ski trails. The Environmental Discovery Center has an underwater pond viewing room, giving you a below-the-water look at the native fish and plants of the pond.
Golf Course

The 6688-yard, par-71 course features well-manicured fairways and greens that are not only entertaining to play on but also fun to watch others do their thing. The course also features a few technologically advanced features to add to the experience. The most noteworthy feature is probably the newest state-of-the-art GPS system that allows you to track your progress through the course.
